Open a campaign and review each submission. Approve creates a normal earning in program currency. That earning enters your usual payout. Approved is not Paid.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- at least one pending submission (you can still review after the campaign ends)
- access to Campaigns
To create a campaign first, see Create campaigns for affiliates.
Steps
Open the campaign
Open Campaigns. A pending count appears on campaigns that need review. Open the campaign.
Review the proof
On a pending row, select Review. Check the written response, public URLs, and images.
Approve or reject
Approve accepts the work and creates one earning for the campaign reward. Reject declines it. You can add an optional Rejection reason.
You cannot undo an approval. A rejected affiliate can send a new entry if the campaign still has an open slot.
What happens after you approve
The earning is ready for the next payout that includes that affiliate. It follows Payment Terms and the same payout path as other commissions. Status can move from Ready for payout to In payout, then Paid.
Common issues
The affiliate says they were approved but not paid
Cause: Approval creates an earning. It does not send money.
Solution: Wait for the next scheduled payout, or pay pending payouts. To pay sooner, generate a payout.
Approve or reject is blocked
Cause: Someone already reviewed the submission.
Solution: Refresh the campaign. Approved work cannot be rejected after an earning exists. Rejected work cannot be approved. The affiliate can resubmit if a slot is open.
The affiliate cannot submit again
Cause: A pending or approved entry already occupies the slot.
Solution: Finish the pending review, or raise Max submissions per affiliate on the campaign.
