Create and Use a Coupon Code

Some programs let customers be attributed to you with a coupon code. If enabled, the coupon appears on Overview next to your promotion link.

Create a self-service coupon

1. Select Create coupon.
2. Enter 3–20 letters or numbers.
3. Confirm the code, then test it at checkout.

Self-service creation is only available when the program owner enabled it. You can create one self-service coupon for a program.

If you cannot create or change a coupon

The owner may have disabled self-service coupons, assigned one manually, or restricted the program to links. Contact the program owner to request a new or replacement code.

Promote the correct benefit

Use the discount and wording displayed by the program. A coupon can identify the referral even when a link was not used, but the exact attribution behavior depends on the program's payment integration.
