Each discount applies to the regular monthly Elite price. Startup subscriptions are billed monthly. Annual billing, affiliate coupons, and other discounts cannot be combined with the offer. Taxes and add-ons, including extra mailbox slots, are separate and do not receive the startup discount. Billing and Stripe Checkout show your currency, monthly price, and applicable taxes before payment.
The program starts with the first successfully paid Elite billing period. It does not add another trial. From month 37, Elite continues at its regular monthly price. We send you a reminder before this change.
What the plan includes
The discount gives you the full Elite plan. You can use Affonso to work with your AI agent, get your program discovered in the Marketplace, and manage partner payouts. Elite also includes unlimited team seats, unlimited affiliate groups, and a dedicated customer success manager. See the Elite plan details for the current feature list.
Who can apply
To qualify, your SaaS company must meet all of these criteria when you apply:
- Founded less than three years ago.
- Under $25,000 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
- Raised less than $3 million in total funding. Bootstrapped companies can apply.
- Never been on a paid Affonso plan.
- Apply before signing up for Affonso, or within 90 days of creating a free account or starting a trial.
We review applications individually. Meeting these criteria does not automatically enroll your company in the program.
How to apply
- Open the Affonso for Startups application.
- Enter your name, work email, company name, founding year, and product website. Select your current MRR, total funding raised, and Affonso account status.
- Confirm that you are authorized to request the discount and that the information is accurate, then submit the form.
We review your application and reply to your work email. If approved, you have 30 days from approval to claim. The email gives the exact deadline and an Activate startup plan link.
Sign in or create an account with the same work email, verify it, and complete onboarding. The link takes you to Billing. Choose the team you manage, review the monthly terms, and open Stripe Checkout with your personal discount already applied. A cancelled Checkout leaves your offer available until the deadline. The first successful payment must finish by that deadline. We cancel and refund a payment that completes after the deadline.
Your offer belongs to your verified account and one team. Forwarding the link does not transfer it. Each email, account, and team can receive the program once.
Cancellation and regular plans
You can cancel at the end of your paid month. There is no annual commitment. Reactivating before the subscription ends keeps the original program dates. Once the subscription ends, you cannot claim again.
To switch to a regular monthly or annual plan, use Switch to a regular plan in Billing. You must confirm that leaving permanently ends the remaining startup discount. You cannot pause a startup subscription or restart its discount period.
Common questions
Does the discount cover Growth or Launch?
No. The startup discount applies to Elite. You can compare all plans on the pricing page.
What happens after the third year?
From month 37, your subscription continues at the regular monthly Elite price. We send a reminder before the change. You can cancel at the end of your paid month.
Can I apply before I have an Affonso account?
Yes. Apply with your company details and work email. We will tell you the next steps after reviewing it.
Can I apply if I already use Affonso?
Yes, if your free account or trial is less than 90 days old and you have never been on a paid Affonso plan. Use the work email associated with that account.
