Create a Discovery agent

Walk through the New agent wizard. Analyze a website, set language and exclusions, then add at least one keyword or competitor.

Create a Discovery agent

The create wizard is English. Add a website, analyze it, then finish the brief. The agent does not start without a product sentence, an audience, and at least one keyword or competitor.

This is not the older New Search flow under Discovery. Create lives at Agents.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • Access to create a Discovery agent.
  • The public website you want the agent to learn from.

Auto-approve stays off during create. Turn it on later in the agent Settings tab if you want qualified matches approved without a review.

Walk through the wizard

1

Name the agent

Go to Agents and click New agent. Enter a name. There is no auto-approve toggle here.

2

Analyze the website

The website step shows only the URL at first. Click Analyze. A spinner and skeleton stay visible while the site is read.

When it finishes, Product (one sentence) and Audience appear. Edit them if you need to. If Analyze cannot fill a field, the hint says so. You cannot continue until both are filled.

3

Language, channel, and exclusions

What language do you target? is a single dropdown with flags. Pick one language.

Where do you target? is websites today. Other channels stay marked Soon.

Which sources should it exclude? leaves those source types out of results. It does not skip the search itself.

4

Keywords and competitors

This is one step. Add at least one topic or one competitor URL. Empty keywords no longer let you skip ahead and then get blocked on competitors.

Lookalikes stay optional and come after this step.

Common issues

Analyze said it worked but the fields were empty

Cause: The site did not give a usable product or audience.

Fix: Write both fields yourself. Continue stays disabled until they are filled.

I want auto-approve during create

Cause: Auto-approve is not part of the wizard.

Fix: Create the agent, open Settings, then turn on auto-approve there.
