These records answer different questions:

  • A referral is a customer attributed to you.
  • A sale is an attributed payment or transaction from that customer.
  • A commission is the earning calculated for an eligible sale.

One referral can create no sales, one sale, or several recurring sales. A sale only produces a commission when it matches the program's product, payment, and commission rules.

Where to find each record

  • Open Referrals → Customers for attributed customers and referral status.
  • Open Referrals → Sales for transactions, commission amounts, hold periods, and statuses.
  • Open Payments to see which approved commissions are included in a payout.

If customer names or emails are hidden, the owner has selected a privacy setting for the program. The anonymous customer label remains consistent so you can follow activity without seeing personal information.
