When someone opens your affiliate link, the program can remember the visit for the cookie duration shown in Success Hub. A qualifying signup or purchase during that window can be attributed to you.

Last touch wins

Affonso uses last-touch attribution for affiliate links: if the visitor later clicks another affiliate's link before converting, the newer eligible click can replace the earlier one.

When attribution can be lost

Tracking may not carry over when the visitor:

  • converts after the cookie expires,
  • clears or blocks browser storage,
  • changes browser or device,
  • uses a private browsing session,
  • clicks another affiliate link later.

Coupon attribution and payment-provider behavior can also affect the result. The program owner controls the cookie duration and is the right contact for a specific attribution dispute.
