This removes your Marketplace account. You lose Marketplace access, your profile, login, connected channels, and recommendation mail.
Applications you already sent stay with the brands. Brand portals you opened with this Marketplace login will stop working.
The action cannot be undone. Type Delete to confirm.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- a Marketplace login at marketplace.affonso.io
- a plan for any brand portals you still want to use, because portals you opened with this login will stop working
- you are sure you want the Partner Network account gone, because there is no undo
If you only want to leave one program, do not use this button. Contact that brand or use that brand's portal.
Steps
Open Marketplace profile
Sign in at marketplace.affonso.io. Open Profile, or go to https://marketplace.affonso.io/app/profile. The page title is Network profile.
Scroll to Danger Zone
Find the Danger Zone card at the bottom of the page. It explains what deleting removes and what stays.
Delete Account
Click Delete Account. The dialog says this deletes your Marketplace account.
Type Delete exactly, then click Delete Account again.
Cancel closes the dialog without deleting.
After a successful delete, Marketplace signs you out.
Common issues
I only wanted to leave one program
Cause: Delete Account removes the whole Marketplace account, not one program.
Fix: Stay signed in. Open that brand's portal or contact the program owner. See Contact the program owner or Affonso Support.
I lost access to a brand portal after deleting
Cause: Programs you joined from Marketplace used this Marketplace login. Deleting it ends that portal access.
Fix: Contact the program owner if you still need access. See Contact the program owner or Affonso Support.
I wanted to stop recommendation emails, not delete the account
Cause: Recommendation mail is a profile setting.
Fix: On Profile, turn off Marketplace recommendation email. Every recommendation mail also has unsubscribe.
The Delete Account button stays disabled
Cause: The confirm field must match Delete exactly, including the capital D.
Fix: Type Delete as shown. Then click Delete Account.
