Stripe Managed Payments (Merchant of Record)

Stripe Managed Payments is Stripe's Merchant of Record option. Checkout and Payment Links still run on the connected Stripe account. Affonso supports this the same way as standard Stripe Payments.

Affonso is not limited to non-MoR Stripe.

Managed Payments uses the same Stripe path. Commission is still calculated on the pre-tax purchase price after discounts. See What amount is commission calculated on?.

Same Stripe path

  1. Connect Stripe under Tracking & Coupons → Connect. See Connect your payment provider.
  2. Pass affonso_referral in Checkout Session metadata, or add referral tracking to Payment Links.
