Where commission settings live

All commission rates, hold periods, and incentive rules are set per group, on the group's Incentives tab.

In Affonso, commission settings are attached to incentives, and incentives live on groups. There is no program-wide commission page — everything is configured per group.

Where to go

  1. Open Groups & Rewards.
  2. Click the group you want to configure (a new account has one default group).
  3. Open the Incentives tab.
  4. Open an incentive to set:
    • Rate — percentage, fixed amount, free months, or credits.
    • Hold period — days a commission stays pending before approval.
    • Applies to — first sale only, all sales (recurring), or specific products.

Why per-group, not per-program

Most programs eventually want different rates for different audiences (early-bird affiliates, agency partners, top performers). Putting incentives on the group makes this clean: one group per audience, each with its own rules.

To run multiple tiers, create multiple groups. See What are affiliate groups?.
