Cookie duration
How long a browser cookie used for referral tracking remains available.
Cookie duration is one part of attribution. A program’s crediting window and tracking method can differ from the cookie’s lifetime, especially when users switch devices or use a referral code.
Example
A tracking cookie may last 30 days, so a return visit in the same browser can still carry the referral identifier.
